How to Obtain a Quote

To obtain a quote, please contact us and try to provide as many details as possible about your project. The following information is most helpful to us:

A Description of the product, including its function and design.
The type of Material used, for example the specific kind of plastic or metal alloy, and the Color and Finish, if applicable.
Any Standards or specifications that the product or material must comply with.
Desired Mechanical Properties such as strength and hardness.
Required resistance to Environmental Conditions such as temperature range, moisture, sunlight, chemical exposure, etc.
The estimated Quantity of product needed per order as well as per year.
Samples or prototypes of the product, if available. Please send at least three identical samples if possible, as this helps us obtain quotes faster and obtain lower prices. Please contact us for instructions on sending samples to the ChinaForge^TM office in China.
3D CAD Designs of the product. We prefer STEP (*.stp, *.step, *.ste), SAT (*.sat), IGES (*.igs), or Pro-Engineer native format for 3D model files. Files can be emailed to us or sent by postal mail on CD-ROM. When sending by email, large files should be placed in a ZIP or RAR archive to reduce size.
Engineering Drawings with details such as lengths, radii, tolerances, and other notes. We prefer AutoCAD (*.dwg, *.dxf), Acrobat (*.pdf), or any common image format for 2D engineering drawings.
If quoting an electronics project: Gerber Files for the design of the printed circuit boards.
If quoting printed items such as packaging, or thermal transfer printing: Artwork in Adobe Illustrator or PDF format.
If you want our quote to include sea freight shipping costs then indicate the desired Port of Import.
